Make These Simple Yet Lovely Unisex Crochet Adult Slippers
I do love some soft slippers/ socks. These great unisex crochet adult slippers are suitable for teens and adults alike.
They are one size only and will fit a shoe size 5 to 7 in the UK.
In the US that is equivalent to approx. shoe size 7 to 9. In continental Europe, this is equivalent to approx. shoe size 37/38 to 39/40.
If you prefer to measure the feet, it is roughly around 8.5 inches to 9.875 inches. In metric that converts to approx. 23.6 cm to 25.1 cm.
This may sound more complicated than it actually is. As with all of Laura’s patterns, they come with great instructions and she has also made some notes about how you can adapt the size.
One of the things I really like about this pattern for crocheted adult slippers, is that the two slippers are not identical.
Instead, they have been shaped so that it is clearly one slipper for the left foot and one for the right foot.
The crochet adult slippers are easy to do and are suitable for beginners as well as more accomplished crocheters.
They are done using a chunky or bulky weight yarn, so the are fairly quick to make.
You will only need one ball of 100 g yarn in white (yarn weight 5) as well as some yarn in an alternate color for the colorful strip along the top edge. Personally, I think I would prefer to make them in a darker color.

I personally prefer to work along a video, so for those of us who prefer a video tutorial, here is Laura’s excellent video.
One last thing, crocheted slippers can be very slippy on some floor surfaces. Check out our tutorial on making these slippers safe: 8 Ways To Make Crocheted Slippers Safe
