Make These Adorable Crochet Baby Headbands With Elastic
These seriously cute crochet baby headbands come with an elastic band crocheted into them. This great design means that these lovely headbands with their big flowers, will fit any size head. And best of all, the headband will stay put on baby’s head.
To make these gorgeous crochet baby headbands, you will need some fine cotton yarn. Some scrap yarn would be perfect.
The headbands are crocheted on a crochet needle measuring 3.0 mm. In the US, that is either a hook size C or D, depending on how tight you crochet. It is also equivalent to a hook size 00 in the US.
You will also need an elastic band for pony tails in the same color as your yarn.
The pattern is in both English and Spanish. It also has a great photo tutorial which makes it easy to follow the instructions for the pattern.
The designer, Ana de Lanas, has also included a great sizing table. This will give you a good indication of how long to make the crochet baby headbands. She has covered sizes from 0 to 24 months.
You can use any crochet flower you like for this pattern. So why not crochet up some of your favorite flowers?

Personally, I would probably adjust the pattern and make the flower in a thinner yarn to match the headband better.
