Learn How To Make This Cute Botanical Bookmark
Much as I love my e-reader, I do love reading a “proper” book and I am always delighted when I come across patterns for bookmarks like this crochet botanical bookmark.
This bookmark designed by Jennifer Dickerson over at Fiber Flux, is just delightful. Her lovely crocheted bookmark incorporates some beautiful little blossoms which have two hanging leaves attached to them.
This crochet botanical bookmark is perfect as a gift, either on its own or with a great book to go with it. If you really would like to go to town, you could also make our popular book carrier as a gift as well. That would make an amazing present for someone special.
The finished crocheted bookmark should measure 8 inches long if you don’t include the flowers. When you include the flowers, the completed bookmark should measure 11 inches long. It is also 1.5 inches wide.
If you prefer your measurements in metric, the completed bookmark should be approx. 20 cm long when you just measure the flowers. If you include the attached leaves as well, it should measure approx. 28 cm long. The width of the completed crocheted bookmark is approx. 3.8 cm.
As with so many of Jennifer’s designs, this pattern comes both in a written form as well as with a video tutorial.
