Every Girl Would Love One Of These Cute Crochet Button Flower Headbands
These lovely little crochet button flower headbands are a quick and easy crochet project that is fun to do.
To make one of the actual crochet button flowers, you will need some scrap cotton yarn in worsted weight. Use two contrasting colors.
The bottom flower is made using a bigger hook. The smaller flower on top is used using a smaller hook. Suggested hook sizes are 6.0 mm (US J) and 5.0 mm (US H). You will also need a couple of buttons in different sizes.
The finished flower measures 2.5 inches across. In metric, that is approx. 6.4 cm across.
Depending on what you are using the crochet button flowers for, you can either sew them together or glue them together using a glue gun.
For the headbands, the they have been glued together.
To put together these lovely headbands, you are going to need:
- flower(s) with button(s)
- headband(s)
- felt or fleece scraps
- scissors
- glue gun
Plain headbands will probably look the best, as they will not compete with your flowers to attention.
You may find that headbands wrapped in some kind of fabric covering are a lot more comfortable to wear.
