Stylish Crochet Diagonal Potholder That Is Double Thick
Use some of your scrap yarn and let your imagination loose making these fun crochet diagonal potholders.
They are incredibly quick and easy to do and will brighten up any kitchen.
This is apparently a pattern that has been around forever. You can of course make the potholders in just one color, but they are so much more fun when you combine a number of different colors.
To make the color change “invisible” try and make the change along the side edge.
The potholder is made in a 4-ply yarn and that makes a square that is approx. 5 inches.
In metric measurements, the finished potholder should be approx. 12.5 cm square.
The pattern has been put together by Andrea Mielke. She has also created a great photo tutorial that takes you through the pattern step-by-step.
