A Pretty Cross To Share For Easter

This beautiful crochet lace cross is perfect for being shared with someone this Easter. It will also be a nice compliment to the popular Crochet Book Carrier.

The lace cross in itself is beautiful, but you can add some pretty ribbon or beads if you want to give it a bit more color. That will also turn it into a lovely bookmark.

By adding a loop at the top (for instance using a ribbon), you can hang it up.

The finished cross measures approx. 4.75 inches by 3.75 inches. In metric, that is approx. 12 cm by 9.5 cm. To make it, you will need:

• Size 10 crochet thread
• Steel hook 2 mm (US A hook)
• A tapestry needle

In order to get the best result, it is recommended that you block the cross. For a stiffer lace cross, you can brush the finished cross with either a homemade or store-bought stiffener.
