This Crochet Orbital Dishcloth Is A Quick And Easy Crochet Pattern
This pattern for a crochet orbital dishcloth is perfect for beginners. Especially if you are looking to move past granny squares.
To successfully crochet one of these dishcloths, you will need to know how to:
- make a magic circle
- double crochet
- half double crochet
- increase
The easiest is just to work every round in the same color of your choice. This will make you a nice solid colored dishcloth.
However, if you feel a bit more adventurous, you can mix it up a bit. By switching colors every round, you will get a striped dishcloth.
The dishcloths in the image have been made using KnitPicks Dishie Yarn. This cotton yarn is a worsted weight cotton and perfect for making dishcloths.
From two skeins of the Dishie yarn, you will get three dishcloths. That is, two solid dishcloths and one striped crochet dishcloth. Each of the crocheted dishcloths are done in just 11 rounds.
The finished size of one of these great dishcloths should be 10.5 inches in diameter. If you are more used to metric measurements, that is approx. 26.5 cm in diameter.
