The cloud case is very versatile. Not only will it make a great crochet pencil case, it will also make a perfect case for your crochet hooks. You can also use if for many other types of accessories.
This fun pattern comes with both written instructions and a chart for making the cloud. This gives the pattern maximum clarity. The yarn used for this crochet project is a Knit Pick Cotlin DK. However, any DK weight yarn is also suitable as long as you obtain the right gauge.
The gauge for this patter is 15 single crochet in 10 rows equals 4 inches. That is approx. 10 cm.
The finished crochet pencil case should measure 9 inches wide by 5.5 inches tall. If you prefer metric measurements, that is approx. 23 cm in width and approx. 14 cm in height.
You will also need a metal zipper (zip) that is the same length as the width of the case, i.e. 9 inches. That is an approx. 23 cm long zip (zipper) made of metal.
