Craft Your Own Ethereal Crocheted Dragon Eggs
How can any Game Of Thrones Fans not want their very own Ethereal Crocheted Dragon Eggs.
The fantasy drama television series “Game of Thrones” has taken the world by storm and is more popular than ever. So, are you a fan?
If yes, and if you are looking for a crochet project to keep you busy while you watch the next box set episode of “Game of Thrones”, why not try crocheting these dragon eggs?
Designed by Christine Advincula of Bad Mushroom, these crocheted dragon eggs are made using layers of crocheted “scales”.
This is commonly referred to as the “crocodile stitch”. She has modified this stitch slightly to create these amazing crocheted dragon eggs.
A finished egg measures about 5 inches by 4 inches (and in metric: approx. 13 cm by 10 cm).
The pattern is at an intermediate level and it is estimated that it will take about 8 hours complete one egg.
Christine goes through her pattern in great detail, with incredible detailed step-by-step explanations and accompanying photos zooming in on the finer details.
However, if you have not attempted the crocodile stitch before, you may prefer to watch a video tutorial.
The detailed instructions for the actual “scales” start about 6 minutes into the tutorial.
