Make This Fall Festival Crochet Jacket
If you don’t have this lovely fall festival crochet jacket in your wardrobe you might need to rethink your style. Layered over other clothing it will make you look absolutely stunning.
This lovely jacket was designed by the team over at Drops Design. They have written a great crochet pattern with detailed instructions, 5 motif diagrams and an assembly diagram.
The pattern is available three different sizes and has been crafted using a size 5.5 mm/US I-9 / UK 5 crochet hook.
You can access the crochet pattern for this beautiful crochet jacket for FREE, from the Drops Design website.

NB! The price on the top right corner when you click the link, is NOT for the pattern – THE PATTERN IS FREE. The price is for the yarn if you choose to buy yarn from Drops Design.
Featured Image-Garnstudio Drops Design-thank you!
Bought the wool stated on the pattern for Fall Festival jacket and the colours are nothing like those shown in the picture. Drops Big Delight No 6 is mostly dark greens and brown with a little rose, no blues, pink or yellow.
Very disappointed.
Dear Heather,
Thanks for getting in touch with The Crochet Space.
I’m sorry to hear that the Drops recommended yarn has not turned out as it appears in the image. Have you tried to contact Drops Design regarding this issue? I would recommend reaching out to them directly.
All the best,
Ann
Drops patterns are not all written! I hate downloading and finding the written instructions refer to charts. Not all of us read charts. Please add all written directions. I might order then.
What is the exact yarn and color shown in photo please
You say free pattern …..how come i cant get it??
Hi Marie
I’ve just re-checked the link and it’s working.
It’s not a download pattern, it’s accessible on the link page. If you’re still having problems, try a different internet browser, Google Chrome is best. Failing that I also clear my cache and cookies every week in my history. Just click on the top 3 vertical dots at the top of your page on the right hand side/ Click on History/ Click on History again/ Click on Clear Browsing Data/ tick cache/ tick cookies and set time. It makes a huge difference to what you can and cannot see on pages. It makes a huge difference. Happy Hooking!?

love this design but i’m HATING the pattern! i can read a chart and even the chart leaves A LOT out – 6 rows in if i do the stitches shown on the chart it would not lay flat.
PLEASE – take the time to write out round by round pattern instructions.
Hi Scarlet
This pattern from DROPS Design is translated from Norwegian and you can always check the original pattern (DROPS 171-21) for measurements and calculations. A list of resources to help you finish your project are included with the pattern. There are several videos to help with any of the stitches and the pattern.

Added information for the above pattern:
follow the pattern rounds … when you get to the sleeve area you will need to make a chain and go past the sleeve area and connect your stitch to the other side … after you reconnect your stitching work the round in pattern and repeat the chain in the 2nd sleeve area.
now when you go to your next round you will continue in pattern … making the stitches ON the chain
Resume Stitching in pattern until you reach the other sleeve area repeat …
