Add This Festive Crochet Tree Deco To Your Ornaments
Add this Festive Crochet Tree Deco to your ornaments. It’s ideal for the tree, or part of a winter scene.
This is a very easy, seasonal project which is also ideal for advancing your crochet skills if you are a beginner. There are two patterns here, one for the tree and one for the star. Together with a photo tutorial for the star.
The designer of this lovely tree is Cintia from Sol De Noche Crochet, and you can access the FREE pattern from her website, please click here: Flocked Christmas Tree Free Pattern & Tutorial .It is available in both English & Spanish. Please note that there is a comment on the English pattern:
I believe there is a typo in the English version. Part 2 should say “hold tree upside down with top (round 1 from Part 1) away from you to attach foliage” and Part 3 should say “hold tree right side up with top (round 1) facing towards you to attach flock.” The green branches are attached upside down so the dc 4 curve down, but if you attach the white upside down too, it curls under the green and is hard to see (unlike your photo).
Cintia has used a size 3.00 mm crochet hook and 106 meters / 40 grams of 100% Acrylic Worsted Yarn.
