Keep Warm With This Fluffy Squares Crochet Afghan
Do you need a warm and cozy place to curl up in? If so, you’ll love this Fluffy Squares Crochet Afghan!
As the weather starts to cool down and fall arrives, it’s important to find ways to keep warm.
One way to do this is by crocheting an afghan. This versatile blanket can be used in a variety of ways, and is perfect for adding a touch of comfort to any space.
This afghan has been designed using a Fluffy yarn. Usually, this would be a difficult and frustrating yarn to use, but in this instance you can, thankfully, enjoy it’s full beauty, without the headaches.
The designer of this pattern is Tatsiana from Lilabjorn’s Crochet World. She has made it so much easier for us, by focusing on chains and spaces for the main pattern and then using a non-fluffy yarn for the border.
She has crafted it using a size 6 mm / US J-10 crochet hook ans a Super Bulky Furry Yarn.
Tatsiana also suggests two versions, instead of just one. For those of you who are not yet confident, you will find it even easier by crafting a plain blanket, or one with stripes.
Once completed, the afghan should measure approximately 43 1/4 inches in width and 59 inches in length. In metric measurements, it should be about 110 cm wide and 150 cm long.
She also included a very helpful photo tutorial that will take you through the process of crocheting the border, step by step.
