Craft This Gorgeous Glencoe Tartan Crochet Poncho For The Winter
Craft this gorgeous Glencoe Tartan Crochet Poncho for the Winter.
This fabulous pull-on poncho is another great piece of out door wear for your closet.
The pattern is classed as easy, and so is suitable for beginner crocheters who have learnt the basic crochet stitches. It is available in only one size and has been worked in 2 panels which are then seamed together at the shoulders. The roll neck is worked in a row, side to side and then seamed at the neckline.
The finished size, if the same yarn and hook are used as the pattern, will be approx. 43 inches wide x 27 inches long. Alternatively if you prefer metric measurements, it will be approx.109 cm x 69 cm.
The yarn used for this pattern is Aran-weight yarn, which has given it a wonderfully thick and heavy appearance, which also makes it incredibly warm and cozy.
This crochet pattern is a lovely design by Olivia over at Hopeful Honey, who has also given us a diagram as well as a chart and a written pattern, to make things easy.
