Learn How To Craft This Fun Ice Cream Cone Baby Crochet Snuggle Sack
Learn how to craft this fun Ice Cream Cone Baby Crochet Snuggle Sack. You all loved the Double Scoop Crochet Snuggle Sack for larger peeps, so why leave baby out?
The design is not identical as it has been created by a different designer, but it’s another great snuggle sack for your wee one!
The designer has not given us a written pattern, only a video tutorial, but if you go to the video on You Tube and look for the three dots in a row after the word SAVE, you can click on them and OPEN TRANSCRIPT will appear, press on this and it will give you the written tutorial:
This delightful baby cocoon has been designed by Alexa Monet. She has used a size 5.00 mm / US H-8 / Uk 6 crochet hook, and approx. 300 yards / 274.32 m of each colored yarn. Alexa has created this particular cocoon for a size 6-12 months in the video, but you can easily adjust this, which she covers in the video itself.
Another couple of insight’s she gives us, which are very useful are:
What I love most about this sleep sack is that it has texture, which helps to prevent baby from sliding around and the weight of the baby keeps it in place as they sleep. My daughter has been using it at 4 months and she really loves it. I intend for her to grow into it up to 1 year.
You can use any size 4 yarn for this tutorial. Red heart with love is soft. And if the yarn you use isn’t soft you can put it in the dryer for 20 mins and that will soften it
Alexa has also given us a separate design for a hat to match the sleep sack, please see below:
