Make These Fun Tunisian Crochet Shaker Dishcloths Without The Need For A Tunisian Crochet Hook
I have always been intrigued by Tunisian crochet. I wanted to have a go, but the lack of a Tunisian crochet hook has always kept me back. Therefore, I was very happy when I came across the FREE pattern by Staci at Very Pink for these Tunisian crochet shaker dishcloths.
There is no need for a special Tunisian crochet hook for this particular pattern. So, it is definitely going in my queue for projects to do!
The pattern for these fun Tunisian crochet shaker dishcloths comes with instructions for how adapt the pattern to the size you want. It also comes with separate instructions for how to make coasters as well.
The pattern is suitable for an advanced beginner.
The crocheted dishcloths in this pattern has been made using Knit Picks Comfy Worsted. However, they can of course be made using any worsted weight cotton yarn you like. This is the perfect scrap yarn project as you will only need 20 grams of yarn, 10 grams of each color.
A finished crocheted dishcloth will be about 7.25 inches in diameter. In metric, that is about 19 cm.
You should keep in mind that Tunisian crochet requires each row to be worked both left-to-right and right-to-left. Only then is a row completed.
